CONSTRUCTION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We can help you get your projects done.  Our project and construction managers direct, coordinate and manage the efforts of consultants, architects, engineers, attorneys, contractors and government officials for the expansion, development and re-development of all asset types.  Our services include but are not limited to the following:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
[Pre-Construction & Design Phase]
  • Solicit proposals, review such, and recommend architects, engineers and consultants.
  • Coordinate activities of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout the design development process to insure budgets, milestones, and schedules are met.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts with architects, engineers, consultants,general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Create and produce timely reports outlining project costs, budgets, schedules, and outstanding issues.  Track project budgets, including change orders, contingencies, etc.
  • Determine zoning requirements and municipality entitlement, approval, and permitting processes and work with regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate with utility companies. 
  • Research local and regional permitting processes.
  • Utilize own resources and/or third parties to create conceptual project budgets and estimates.
  • Read, understand, and interpret architectural plans and specifications, as well as engineering and construction drawings and technical reports.  Recommend and evaluate value engineering options to meet budgets. 
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently. 
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
[Construction Phase]
  • Manage construction projects, establish and track project goals, milestones, and schedules.  Assess and report on progress toward goals and project outcomes.
  • Direct the design team, third-party construction managers, consultants, and general contractor throughout the construction process.
  • Translate and communicate technical construction related issues to non-technical individuals.
  • Organize and manage construction meetings and insure effective communication between parties.  Prepare and communicate regularly project reports, schedules, and budget status to required parties.
  • Regular site visits as necessary.
  • Constructability review.
  • Lead/support quality assurance team.
  • Negotiate change orders.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFI’s) by conractors.
  • Contract closeout supervision and documentation.
